2015 Update

First, we have to apologise for not keeping this updated. Between shows & markets the time just seems to get away from you. 2014 went by in a flash.

Now as to our schedule for the 2015 season. The shows we are doing throughout the year are listed in the sidebar with the cities they are in & dates.
We will be doing four markets a week at the following locations:
Banff; every Wednesday from June 10 to Sept 23. New location on Bear St in Banff.
Canmore; every Thursday from June 11 to Oct 15. Location is next to the Civic Center on 7th Ave.
Baynes Lake; every Saturday from June 13 to Aug 29. Location is Baynes Lake School Road.
Fernie; every Sunday from July 5 to Aug 30. Location is Rotary Park beside Highway 3.

We will try to update this as often as we can, however we have also started a Facebook page that may be the quicker way of checking in with us.
www.facebook.com/SpiritsoftheCreek
Facebook posts may be slow at first, after all, we have to get used to this new social media thing but once we get the hang of our smartphone, we will be posting from the markets & shows.

See you at the Markets & Shows.

Fall into Christmas, Swift Current

The Fall into Christmas in Swift Current is the original, held on the weekend before Thanksgiving each year. This is a handcrafted-only craft show, one of the first in the fall/winter craft show season.

Next craft show is in Medicine Hat, Fall into Christmas . Check it out, lots of exhibitors from all over Canada.
Look for us in Booth 117

Kimberley Fall Fair, fun & some great news.

The last weekend in Sept is always the time for the Kimberley fair at the Marysville arena just at the south end of Kimberley. A fun casual place for fellow vendors from the surrounding area to sell their wares & a great weekend for all.

And now the great news, We are Winners!!! This year we were awarded the best booth award, unexpected as we always just try to present our best appearance.

Join us next year, Sept 27-28th, 2014.

Winter is here already??

Here it is, Sept 18th which should be a nice fall day & what do we get? SNOW!! Not nice at all.

The snow level dropped right down into the valley, with a lot more snow east of here. Is this a sign of the winter to come?

Jafferey Fall Fair

Sept 14th was the 20th annual Jafferey Fall Fair, a fun day in the sun. The community really gets behind everything, super parade, lots of fun & people enjoying the day.

A few pictures of the parade, love the old vehicles.

The pipers playing in front of our booth.

Lots of people enjoying the day. Who can beat a day in the sun surrounded by mountain scenery?

And who wouldn't want a ticket on this load of firewood?

See us next at the Kimberley Fall Fair, Sept 28-29th at the Marysville Arena, south of Kimberley.

Banff is done for the season.

September 11th was the last market of the season & also the Banff Harvest Fest. Other than the downpour in June, the summer was great. The market, along with the Bike Fest & Canada Day was a great introduction for our first year there & we made many new friends.

Donna & I on the last market.

A super Thank You to all our new friends & customers, local & international!!
It was an awesome summer, see you next year!!

Spruce Meadows "Masters"

The start of our fall & winter season is always Spruce Meadows "Masters". This year was a change, the old familiar Marketplace tent is gone & we were in the Gallery on the Green. A nice building but will take a bit of getting used to.

We're not used to a flat floor after a summer of rough ground. No sunshine so the lights have to be used, overhead track lighting set up on the canopy frames.

And now for the formal display of our products.

A view down the aisle.

"Masters" was great, look for us in the Riding Hall during the Spruce Christmas Market. See the dates in our show schedule.
