Here it is, Sept 18th which should be a nice fall day & what do we get? SNOW!! Not nice at all.
The snow level dropped right down into the valley, with a lot more snow east of here. Is this a sign of the winter to come?

Jafferey Fall Fair
Sept 14th was the 20th annual Jafferey Fall Fair, a fun day in the sun. The community really gets behind everything, super parade, lots of fun & people enjoying the day.
The pipers playing in front of our booth.
Lots of people enjoying the day. Who can beat a day in the sun surrounded by mountain scenery?
And who wouldn't want a ticket on this load of firewood?
See us next at the Kimberley Fall Fair, Sept 28-29th at the Marysville Arena, south of Kimberley.
A few pictures of the parade, love the old vehicles.

Banff is done for the season.
September 11th was the last market of the season & also the Banff Harvest Fest. Other than the downpour in June, the summer was great. The market, along with the Bike Fest & Canada Day was a great introduction for our first year there & we made many new friends.

A super Thank You to all our new friends & customers, local & international!!
It was an awesome summer, see you next year!!
Spruce Meadows "Masters"
The start of our fall & winter season is always Spruce Meadows "Masters". This year was a change, the old familiar Marketplace tent is gone & we were in the Gallery on the Green. A nice building but will take a bit of getting used to.
We're not used to a flat floor after a summer of rough ground. No sunshine so the lights have to be used, overhead track lighting set up on the canopy frames.

And now for the formal display of our products.
A view down the aisle.
"Masters" was great, look for us in the Riding Hall during the Spruce Christmas Market. See the dates in our show schedule.
The end of summer at Baynes & Fernie markets.
It is always sad when the last markets of summer roll around & you say good-bye to your neighbors for another year.
The last market at Baynes was well attended, lots of vendors & customers.

What's with the hat??
Over the summer I have had many comments, compliments & questions about my hat. Main comment: "Love the hat!!" & main question has been, where did I get it?
The hat comes from fellow artisans, a family-run business of hat makers from California that we see while we are at some of the Arizona fairs during the winter. All their hats are handcrafted, check them out at www.headnhome.com
